Seeking to live creatively in every venture

- the thoughts and musings of an author/illustrator -

THERES A NEW BOOK COMING OUT THIS SUMMER AND THIS IS WHAT THE COVER LOOKS LIKE!!

Moby only wants one thing: to be with Shiloh.

From the day she chooses him, Moby’s world revolves around her—walks, games, and the simple joy of being by her side. No matter how long she’s gone, he waits. Because Shiloh always comes back.

But as the years pass, the world begins to shift.
Shiloh grows up. Her life gets bigger.

And Moby, for the first time, can’t quite keep up. Still, he watches. He waits. He loves—without question, and without condition.

Because to Moby, love isn’t about being everything to someone…
It’s about giving them everything you have.

Heartfelt and unforgettable, All of Shiloh is a moving story of loyalty, change, and the quiet, powerful bond between a girl and the dog who discovers that the truest kind of love is not what we hold onto—but what we are willing to give.

This middle-grade fiction novella is told from the perspective of Moby, a white golden retriever. As he recounts the story of his life, he remembers life’s hardest and sweetest moments. Most of all, he remembers his love for his girl, Shiloh, and must learn what it means to truly love her by watching those around him.

I originally wrote this short book for a graduate writing children’s fiction class where my professor commented, “you got me, I’m sitting here wiping tears. This is a beautiful story of not only the love of a dog, but the love of a father for his daughter.” But I promise it’s not a sad dog story! It’s been described only as “sweet,” “heartwarming,” and “real.” Even my editor had a tough time putting it down!
